DDG Seven City Sirens Take the WIN!

The game…. was…. INSANE.
There’s no way around NOT using that word to describe it: 1, 2 & 3 point differences in the last 6 minutes of the game… those last few jams leading to the end were legit nail-biters….. until a DDG DOUBLE POWER JAM… the LAST JAM!
That score you see was the OFFICIAL FINAL, with 30 points scored by the Seven City Sirens in that final jam! Final Score: Seven City Sirens – 194, Kill Devil Derby Brigade – 170
Thank you to everyone who came out, our families, fans, volunteers, those new to the local roller derby scene…. & above all… the Kill Devil Derby Brigade for coming out with sweat, hustle & a ton of smiles on & then off the track at the after party!ddgvkddbfinal

DDG 2nd Annual 5K Track to Trail

Saturday, 24 October 2015

Join Dominion Derby Girls in supporting Wounded Wear for our Second Annual 5k! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Wounded Wear.

The Dominion Derby Girls is an all-female flat track roller derby league located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, formed with the purpose of promoting the sport of roller derby and giving back to the community. We are a not for profit, tax exempt organization that donates volunteer time and proceeds from bouts to charitable causes in the Hampton Roads region.

Wounded Wear’s mission is to raise the national awareness of the sacrifice of wounded warriors, their families, and the families of fallen service members. In support of this mission Wounded Wear advocates on behalf and facilitates opportunities for those who have sacrificed so much, as well as providing free fashionable clothing kits and modifications to wounded warriors that empower them to rediscover the hero within. Together we hope to raise awareness for both organizations.

Last year was a blast and we are definitely looking forward to this one. Get registered and share with your friends!
