Pizza Eating Contest Recap

Cici's Part 1:
We had an excellent turnout at our first ever Pizza Eating Contest/Fundraiser at Cici's Pizza. We had 6 hearty competitors step up to the plate. With 8 slices in front of each of them we set them loose to devour as many as they could in five minutes. Little did we know five minutes was too long for ol' chap as he pounded down 10 slices in 2 minutes and 29 seconds.



Ol' chap set the bar high and the rest of the competitors fell short, only finishing 2 or 3 pieces in the 2.5 minutes.



Next up we had the Pee Wee pizza eating contest. 8 little runts duked it out to see who could eat 3 slices of pizza the fastest. Ages ranging from 4 to 12 this wasn't a fair fight. Duh Beev's niece slaughtered the chickadees and choked down her 3 slices in 2 minutes flat. A good effort was made by all and everyone left with a prize!

Cici's Part II



Due to having our Part II so close to Part I, and on a Monday night, attendance was low. But that didn't stop the DDG from having the ultimate face-off throw down Pizza Eating Contest. The great Tenacious Steve took on the beastly Fresh Meat Zanna, Rub-Her Ducky, Frankendoll's main squeeze Joey, and Cici's very own ___________ (dudes name?).
Each plate was stacked high with 8 delicious slices. Cici's manager ___(jeff?) had the stop watch in hand, on the edge of his seat, and cried, "GO! GO! GO!" This was intense people!
The chowing down commenced! Joey and Steve, the shoe-ins, shared some chuckles by tossing pieces onto each others plates. Meanwhile to their left Fresh Meat Zanna had already murdered 3 slices. Realizing they had some stiff competition the crowd favorites Joey and Steve tried to catch up. Rub-Her Ducky took her time, certain that slow and steady wins the race.
During the 4th minute of the race, Fresh Meat Zanna and Joey both only had one slice left! The race was on! Who could swallow that last piece first?!?!! Both shoved the entire slice in their mouths in efforts to beat the other one!



FM Zanna slyly spit the wad of pizza into her napkin and forfeited to Joey. BUT WAIT. Flag on the play! Joey only ate 7 pieces! Zanna wins by default!!
Fresh Meat Zanna goes home with first prize.
