About Me: I am a 23 year old college student who just recently got married and moved to the area. I go to ODU part time as a physical education major and work part time. In my free time I chill with my husband, play video games (favs are Zelda and Kingdom Hearts), read as much fiction as I can fill my head with, watch TV (mostly sci-fi and action), and play ultimate Frisbee. I grew up in a Navy family near the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis MD, but somehow I managed to move to Virginia and find myself a Army man who I fell in love with and eventually married. When the Army vs. Navy game rolls around don't even ask me where I'll be sitting cause I don't even watch! My discovery of roller derby was actually kind of an accident. I was actually just chatting with a girlfriend who was talking about the bruises she had from practice. She told me about derby and how easy it would be to come and since I am a girl who has always had a love for rough sports, I decided to join her. Truth is, I was completely hooked after that first practice. I fell in love with the game and the amazing workout was just an added bonus. I'm looking forward to some good times and some awesome bruises to show off. :)
