About Me: If you really want something bad enough, without a doubt, you can do it. Even though I had never before played sports I was going to skate this full contact rough and tumble sport or die trying. I wasn't afraid of getting hurt because that was a given. I wasn't afraid that it might take years before I could make the team because when I started I couldn't even stand on skates. And I certainly wasn't afraid of any big bad ass beast of a girl licking her chops to wipe the floor clean with my ass... cause my name isn't Sally and my momma didn't raise no sissy girl. It's all about being tougher than the girl skating next to you. But what I was afraid of was not having the guts to even try or giving up when it got too hard. So three and half years later... a crushed ulna and radius, one plate, five screws... torn P.C.L... torn collateral ligaments in two fingers... and a possible tailbone fracture, here I am at the age of 34 still skating fast and turning left and I wouldn't have it any other way. My derby wife is Hofosho!
