Bio:I graduated from Longwood University twice with equally useless degrees in Art Education and Psychology. I keep an Art studio in Richmond at Artworks, where every 4th Friday you can come drink and be merry in the land of Art. I also teach elementary art in Hampton. The art I enjoy making is a very wide range of media. I can paint and draw, but prefer not to. I enjoy more 3-d art, ceramics, fibers, weaving, wool felting, stained glass and glass fusing. But I do like some 2-d work, photography, printmaking, collage and painting murals. I have always been active and sporty. I grew up sailing and playing soccer. I started competing in triathlons 5 years ago. I coach Master's Swim at the Y. I enjoy mountain biking, windsurfing, rock climbing, yoga, camping, music festivals and being outdoors. Now I have added Roller Derby to mix!
